Who is eligible to have your support?

If you are an idea holder or an existing company seeking BIAT’s support, you have to meet our admission criteria, which include, but are not limited to, the following:
 1 - Background, commitment, and entrepreneurial experience of the candidate.
 2 - Financial viability and sustainability of the project.
 3 - Status of business plan.
 4 - Growth potential of your idea.
 5 - Preferably from IT, graphics, F&B, health, tourism, and light industries.

What is the difference between hosted companies and incubatees?
Incubatees are mainly startups, who have a business idea  and want our support and counseling services to help them realize it. Hosted companies, are companies who have existied in the market for some time but want to move to our building due to the facilities we offer.

Do you provide your services for free?
BIAT is a not-for-profit association, supported by the EU, designed and created to be a catalyst for the creation and development of SMEs in the North; however, in order to be sustainable, BIAT charges realistic fees for all the services it provides. We offer incentives to startups with growth potential in order to enhance and motivate them. In addition to our affordable prices, BIAT also offers a comprehensive counseling service from A to Z. We study the idea, finetune it, diagnose it, help to finance it, assist during implementation of plans, and monitor its day-to-day activities. We also offer training services for staff or individuals on very competitive terms.Please contact us and we'll be happy to answer your questions in full.

Why are you different than regular consultants?
First of all, only part of what we do is consultancy, we also support, host, train, build networks and provide access to a range of services. Consultants take on a task; complete it, collect their fees, and leave. However, if you meet our criteria, we stay with you from the concept development (research, feasibility, analysis, strategy) through the implementation (business plan, HR, product development, access to finance etc) to the marketing and promotion. We don’t leave you in the middle of your path. In addition, BIAT has the back-up of EU and the Ministry of Economy and its partners and associates, and has a state-of-the-art building which gives you prestige and visibility.
