Implemented in cooperation with the SANAD Technical Assistance Facility and Finance in Motion, this initiative strengthened early- to mid-stage startups and registered SMEs in Lebanon, with particular attention to digitalization, agrifinance, and women- and youth-led enterprises. The project addressed practical challenges including legal structuring, cybersecurity, payment processing, liquidity, exporting, e-commerce, staff well-being, executive coaching, and access to new markets.
BIAT conducted a bilingual outreach campaign, assessed applications through a structured scoring process, validated shortlisted businesses through field visits, and selected 20 beneficiaries. Each enterprise received a detailed profile and assessments covering coaching, training, investment, resources, and capabilities. These diagnostics guided tailored capacity building and business support designed to strengthen resilience, improve market readiness, and help participating enterprises navigate Lebanon’s challenging operating environment.
