Implemented with UNICEF, Employability and Empowerment of Youth in Crisis – V expands inclusive economic opportunities for adolescents and young adults across Lebanon. BIAT delivers social entrepreneurship and enterprise-development training to 3,000 young people, with particular attention to marginalized youth, young women, and individuals affected by conflict and economic hardship. The intervention strengthens technical, financial, managerial, digital, and entrepreneurial skills needed for employment and sustainable self-employment.
BIAT also provides seed funding to promising youth-led initiatives and startups, supported by continued mentoring, business guidance, access to finance, professional networks, and market linkages. Delivery is supported through BIAT’s Tripoli facilities, the YARD Online Incubator, and mobile field units. Together, these services help young people identify viable opportunities, launch or strengthen enterprises, and contribute more actively to community and economic resilience.
